We travel in a Class A motorhome, pulling a tow. The Executuve sites are perfectly accommodating for our vehicles; nice and wide, some with grassy areas, but are back-ins only. The park has a lot of nice, mature trees, which adds to the overall ambiance, but at the same time adding to difficulty maneuvering. We made reservations a couple of months in advance, and Executive sites weren't available for the length of time we wanted to stay. We kept checking with them periodically, and they were very accommodating in finally getting us a site that we wanted. The office advised us prior to arriving to go directly to our site, and then check in with the office, as office area is very tight. The Wi-Fi was a little weak, and we were disappointed that we could not use our convertible grill as a fire pit. Overall, park was maintained well, and was very conveniently located to Sedona. Check with office as to the best way to come in to town, as there is a lot of construction in the town of Sedona.
We stayed overnight here 5 years ago and would give the park a 9. This time we were disappointed in the condition. It needs a little TLC. The gravel roads and sites need to be resurfaced. It was raining when we got there. We and the dog had to fight muddy patches throughout the park. The park is very convenient and we will continue to return for overnight stays. If the park is re-graveled we would rate a 9.
